Tina Young Executive Vice President / Investments & Operations Ft. Gibson, OK. Tina Young has been in the Financial Services field for 25 years. She's been an innovative business instructor at 2 Oklahoma Universities and held advanced positions with large firms in Tennessee and Texas including Pepsi and Dr. Pepper/7up. Tina's Banking & Accounting experience in research, auditing, and tax compliance enabled rapid advancement into key positions with respected firms. East Tennessee State University graduated Tina in 1981 with a Bachelor's of Science in Mass Communications and minor in Business Administration. Later, she attained an MBA from Northeastern State University, while counseling financial aid students. This motivated Tina to achieve one of her many goals. In 1992, Tina was recruited from Bacone College to become an Instructor at Northeastern State University College of Business. She became a student favorite almost immediately, due in part to her 'tell it like it is' demeanor. Tina's ability to impart her practical business experience into innovative teaching methods that focused on 'real world' projects and lectures made her classes in high demand. The alternative approach of introducing frank discussions of what it takes to compete in business has helped many of her students to become successful executives and entrepreneurs. Tina's cumulative experience in Business, Education and Finance afforded her a seat on the board of directors for Northeastern State University's Foundation. She's on the Executive Board of Directors for KidSpace, a non-profit child advocacy center where she also serves as treasurer, and spearheads the Young Family Foundation. In 2002, Tina Co-Founded LoneOak Ventures and today continues an active role in most aspects of the firm.
